Temple University Senior Cabaret (2019) | Workshopped with Brandon McShaffrey
The capstone of our musical theater program is a cabaret workshop, in which we learn about different styles of cabaret, study significant cabaret artists, and workshop our own material. At the end of the semester we each put together a 3-4 piece set to be performed at the official cabaret. We watched each other grow over four years together as a cohort, culminating in an evening of beautiful, hilarious, heartbreaking, and inspiring storytelling. My set outlined my coming-of-age story through my signature style of musical comedy. Below you will find the full set, as well as separate videos of each individual piece.
