As I said in my last update, I co-produced this entire collection (from play selection to casting to running rehearsals to marketing and beyond), I directed one of the plays (A Smooth Transition), and I acted in another one of the plays (Foaming at the Mouth)! I am so incredibly proud of this collection and I couldn’t be happier to share it with you. Business Casual is a collection of 10-ish-minute comedies following four unique sets of characters in their various professions.

STUDIO EXECUTIVE: Two passionate filmmakers face some unexpected pushback from a bigwig Hollywood producer in the pitch meeting that could be their big break.

A SMOOTH TRANSITION: A young Wall Street businesswoman gets a big promotion, but the future of her career is looking more like an episode of Black Mirror.

THE LONG HAUL: Four truck drivers on a group call have their friendship tested when one of them makes a deadly mistake.

FOAMING AT THE MOUTH: Two park rangers endure mandatory counseling to assuage their hatred for each other, led by a rookie counselor who may have bitten off more than she can chew.

Business Casual is presented by We're Trying Up Here! Entertainment as part of Philly Theatre Week 2021. It is set, shot, and shown 100% virtually.
