OOPS! It’s been five months! 😱 When did that happen?! It’s been SUCH a blur, reader. Once you hear the recap, you’ll understand how this newsletter slipped through the cracks.

Here’s what I forgot to update you on:

shocked and delighted that this clip made it to national television.

First and foremost, if you haven’t figured it out already, I was on the most recent season of THE FLOOR on Fox! My best friend Michael was on season 1, and he inspired me to apply for season 2. It was an absolute whirlwind, from getting cast just two weeks before filming to shooting twelve episodes in just five days on another continent. But by the end of that crazy week of 12- to 16-hour workdays, I left with new friends for life. No sweeter people have ever graced the stages of reality television. They are my heroes and my biggest supporters. We all are still enthusiastically in touch, and it’s been such a gift to watch the show back with many of them by my side.
My category was Disney Characters, which I didn’t choose by any stretch of the imagination, but I think I rose to the challenge! I won’t spoil it here, but if you want to know how I did, the Disney duel is in episode 10. 😉 Stream it on Hulu in the US or on Youtube abroad!

between this and the solar eclipse in april, 2024 was a great year of looking up.

Then, I had a crazy September. First, there was the Love Me In September Tour, which played in two whole cities! Including my hometown! It was such a blast and a small-but-mighty milestone for the band and me. And three days after that, I flew to Norway for an aurora vacation on my way to my longtime friend Emma’s wedding in the UK (and got to sing for their first dance 🥹). And three days after THAT, I moved from Queens to Manhattan. Are you starting to see what I meant earlier? 🥵

Since then I’ve played some smaller shows, started recording an EP (!!!), visited San Diego for a big Floor finale party, hit 10k spotify streams, nearly DOUBLED my listeners on this year’s spotify wrapped, and filled as many of the in-between moments as possible with joy and love. 🥰

Alrightyyyyy now that we’re all caught up, onto the real reason I’m here today, reader: I finally have another show coming up! On Wednesday, February 19th, we are returning to Arlene’s Grocery!
